Its unique combination of ceramic compounds has proven to be the most effective, long-lasting ceramic heat repellant coating

SUPERTHERM

It is a water-borne coating that is specifically designed to block heat-load, moisture-penetration, and air-infiltration on virtually any type of surface, it is unrivalled in terms of its ability to actually block heat – no other alternative paints, coatings can compete.

Project Description
The purpose of the project was to reduce the temperature inside the chicken farm and reduce the heat stress caused by heat radiated from the 3 slate roofs.

Coating Solution
Preparation consisted of a power wash. When dry, this was followed by 2 coats of SUPER THERM. (Total DFT: 250 micron)

Results
Due to the significant drop in temperature as a result of SUPER THERM application, the cooler temperature inside the chicken houses will prevent mass death of chickens, as well as, increase of egg production that typically stagnates due to heat exhaustions.

Project Description
Surface temperatures before application:

on roofing = 51°C
average outside conditions = clouded
average outside temperature = 26,5 °C
Customer decided to insulate its plant with SUPER THERM to prevent outside heat penetration.

Coating Solution
Application of 250 micron SUPER THERM.

Results
Surface temperatures after application on roofing = 27°C.

Project Description
The intention was to test SUPER THERM in comparison to normal white paints on gas pipes that are not allowed to become warm in order to avoid build-up of pressure.

Currently, in warm weather conditions it could be necessary to cool off the installation with water, see sprinkler installations in the pictures.

Coating Solution
RUST GRIP was used as a primer and then 2 layers of SUPER THERM were applied. Finished off with ENAMO GRIP WHITE to give extra protection in this industrial environment.
